The Bailout is a disaster.

 

Fannie, Freddy, AIG, and Investment Banks may have known something about mortgage investing.  Their objective, however, was to make Millions for the executives at a loss of Billions to the shareholders.  The CEO of WaMu was paid ~15 Million for 3 weeks of employment…  One Million dollars per day!

 

Bush, Paulson, Bernanke, and Congress (BPBC) know nothing about mortgage investing.  None of them have actually done it.  I have been doing mortgage investing (profitably) for 30 years.  Who you gonna call?

 

BPBC want 700 Billion for the Bailout because Dr. Bernanke says that 700 Billion represents 5% of 14,000 Billion in Mortgage Backed Securities which will default.

 

BPBC has it all wrong… 100% backward.  The 700 Billion in defaulted mortgages may be worth more (per mortgage) than the 13,300 Billion in 30-year mortgages which are held to maturity.  To wit:

 

1.  The 13,300 Billion in mortgages are yielding about 6% after servicing.

 

2.  The CPI is a government lie.  The actual rate of inflation is now 12%.

 

3.  The actual rate of inflation will go to 18% or more as a result of uncontrolled government spending such as the 700 Billion Bailout.  The government is going to print most of that money.

 

4.  A defaulted $150,000 mortgage can be foreclosed.  $90,000 can be recovered.  100 ounces of gold at $900 per ounce can be purchased with the proceeds.

 

5.  A performing $150,000 mortgage yielding 6% pays $900 per month for 360 months… A payout of $324,000 over 30 years.  This is roughly equivalent to receiving a lump sum of $162,000 after 15 years.

 

6.  A $900 ounce of gold today will be worth $10,800 after 15 years at 18% average real inflation.

 

7.  The defaulted mortgage is worth  $1,080,000 in gold after 15 years.

 

8.  The performing mortgage is worth $162,000 in cash after 15 years.

 

The defaulted mortgage is worth 6.6 times the performing mortgage. 

 

Do not believe Bush, Paulson, Bernanke, and Congress.

Six years ago, Bush and most Solons were saying:  We must act now and act fast to prevent Saddam Hussein from obtaining nuclear weapons.*

Six months ago, Secretary Paulson was saying:  The banking industry and the financial system are strong.

Six weeks ago, Bush was saying:  The economy is basically sound.

Two weeks ago, McCain was saying:  The economic fundamentals are strong.

Now, Bush and most Solons are saying:  We must act now and act fast with $700,000,000,000 to prevent a total and catastrophic banking industry and financial system crisis.

Bush and most Solons were totally wrong in the past.  Why should anyone believe that they are correct now?

*Iraq’s WMD turned out to be chemical artillery shells which were identical to the chemical weapons which were used by both sides in WW-1.

WHERE IS THE FOCUS?

   

     

Why is it that most Democrats are focused on environment?  Why is it that most Republicans are focused on abortion?

 

Answer:  People are both ignorant-of and incapable-of discerning the multitude of serious problems.

 

If I were to carve a totem pole representing the serious problems facing the USA today, I would run out of pole long before getting to environment and abortion.

 

Examples:  An attack on Iran is inevitable.  Russia is getting touchy and is in bed with Iran.  The U.S. is incapable of concluding the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The free world has gotten tired of the U.S. wars and the USA itself.  The U.S. is incapable of staying-out-of and spending-money-on other people’s problems.  The U.S. economy is tanking.  Our solons were ignorant of it, ignored it, and/or facilitated it.  Massive inflation is inevitable due to the out-of-control spending and the printing of money.  Nuclear war is probably inevitable.  There is enormous dissatisfaction with our government and our corrupt political process.  Dishonesty, lying, omission, ignorance, and the changing of positions by solons has become the norm.  It is not beyond comprehension that some states may want to secede from the USA in order to govern themselves and their borders properly.

 

Were these problems confronted by Bush in his State-Of-The-Union address?  No!  Bush was concerned about the use of steroids by baseball players which resulted in a unproductive and costly congressional investigation in which people simply lied.

THE VALIDITY OF “COMMON SENSE”

A scientist can become certain in his beliefs if they are supported by facts and data which he believes to be indisputable. BUT, that same scientific certainty can blind a scientist to reality… and it often has.

At age 20, I learned a costly lesson when I tried to beat a carnival game called Spot-The-Spot. I had the science of the game figured out, but I was so confident in my solution that I did not stop and apply some common sense as to how the game could be rigged.  That false confidence of mine cost me money.

Until the late 1800s, Bloodletting was the most common medical practice performed by doctors. For 2000 years  “Medical Science” was not challenged by common sense. Bloodletting was the preferred treatment for someone who had been stabbed in the chest and was bleeding to death.

In 1975, The National Academy of Sciences, Dr. Mitchell of NOAA, Dr. Kukla of Columbia University, Reid Bryson of University of Wisconsin, and Dr. McQuigg of NOAA Center for Climatic and Environmental Assessment warned as follows: “The longer the planners delay, the more difficult will they find it to cope with climatic change once the results become grim reality.” They were in a panic about the Global Cooling Crisis.

In 1999, Y2K was going to be a national and global disaster. There were reports that even some kitchen appliances would stop operating.  None of the thousands of Computer Science EXPERTS came forward to assert the limited magnitude of the Y2K Problem, the unjustified concern, the overreaction, and the unnecessary expenditure that was taking place… The total cost of the work done preparing for Y2K is estimated at 300 billion dollars ($300,000,000,000).

In 2002, The President, Vice President, CIA, and Military Intelligence were all convinced by their facts and data that Iraq was developing chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons with which to attack the United States. It became unpatriotic to deny the WMD capabilities of Iraq and the intensions of Saddam Hussein. We are still paying for that totally erroneous group-think, and we will be paying for years to come.

PERPETUAL WAR IN iRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN

In the novel  1984, world peace was not the objective.  World population control was the objective.  In fact, even the enemy of Oceania kept changing.  Nobody in 1984 could remember what Oceania was fighting for, or against, or about.

The USA is now heading toward  “1984 think”  in Iraq and Afghanistan.

In 2009, Eighteen-year-old U.S. adults were only ten years old when the Afghan war started. They have no idea what the U.S. is fighting for or against in Afghanistan. Hell, I do not know either, at this time.

Our boys are not “fighting for our freedom” like Bush told us they were doing in Iraq… along with defining the war and its purpose over and over  with several names and puropses.

NASA’S MOON-ICE PROBE BOONDOGGLE

The anticipated “Violent Impact” and “huge cloud of lunar dust and ice crystals” was not observed on a 30-foot TV display by the gullible assembled masses.

Is NASA aware that there is no atmosphere on the Moon?  A particle of Moon dust will fall back to the Moon’s surface with the same acceleration as a lead bowling ball.  Reference:  High school physics.

NASA spokesmen have stated that the importance of finding ice on the Moon is that water could provide hydrogen for fuel and oxygen to breathe.

Is NASA aware that far more energy is required to disassociate H2O into H2 and O2 than can be recovered by the recombination of H2 and O2 to produce useful work such as rocket propulsion?  Reference:  Engineering chemistry and thermodynamics.

Is NASA aware that the practical absurdities of men mining polar Moon-ice crystals for any useful purpose on the Moon are too numerous to enumerate?

In engineering language:  NASA is jerking-off in the bathroom.

Upside Down Houses

  

A Deutsche Bank study* concluded:  “By 2011, 25 million houses (half) will be valued at less than the mortgage.  By 2011, 90% of Florida houses will be valued at less than the mortgage.”  If true, houses will be impossible to sell by 2011.

 

Proposed solution:  Banks could simply permit upside down mortgages to be assumed by any Buyer who can make a down payment equal to 10% of the mortgage balance.  This would enable Buyers to buy, Sellers to sell, closing costs to be eliminated, foreclosures to be prevented, short sales to be avoided, REO’s to be unnecessary, vacant property to be reduced, vandalism to be avoided, property to be maintained, neighborhoods to be preserved, and Bank mortgage balances to be lowered.  A win win win gambit for Buyers, Sellers, neighborhoods, and Banks.

 

The only problem (for the Buyer) is when the property has subordinate liens.

When a person says or implies: “Don’t you know who I am?” in a confrontational situation with the police or anyone else; is that a good method to win friends and influence people?  I don’t think so.

  

Should the Cambridge Police Department respond promptly within 24 hours the next time that a 911 call is received from the distinguished Harvard Professor Henry Louis Gates Jr.?  They probably will.

  

It is an interesting fact that people who CAN do, and people who CAN’T teach at universities.  Henry Louis Gates Jr talks,  teaches, writes, interviews and creates racial issues about which to talk, teach, write, and  interview.

 

Henry Louis Gates Jr. would have many more  admirers if he called himself Hank Gates, removed the black chip from his shoulder, and let his actual accomplishments speak for themselves… You know, like a normal person.

  

The North America-American  Microsoft Chief Executive Officer and Chief Software Architect William Henry Gates III calls himself Bill Gates and his accomplishments have changed the entire world.

A History Lesson for Eugene Cernan

 

Eugene Cernan (the LAST man on the Moon) was on cable news last week.  Cernan was advocating manned space travel to Mars.

Cernan was asked: “Why should we incur the enormous expense of going to Mars?”  Cernan answered:  “Why did Columbus set out on HIS voyage?”

Cernan did not attend the same elementary school that I did.  As a child, I was taught that Columbus was financed by Queen Isabella of Spain in order to find a trade route to the Orient.

   

Kids were always told that the purpose of a trade route to the Orient was to obtain “SPICES”.  For those who never caught on:  Spain could not finance the Niña, Pinta, and Santa Maria by bringing back Parsley, Rosemary, and Thyme.

 

 

The “spice” they wanted was OPIUM!  So Eugene, unless there is a lot of real good “spice” on Mars, and you can bring back 25,000 pounds of it in your ship like Columbus could, your voyage to Mars will make no fiscal sense.

  

THE U.S. CANNOT WIN IN AFGHANISTAN

 

Perspective on U.S. wars:

  

1.   U.S. involvement in WW-1 lasted 17 months from the time our boys landed in France on 6/25/17 until Armistice Day on 11/11/18.  Then the boys came home.

 

2.   U.S. involvement in WW-2 lasted 44 months from the Pearl Harbor attack on 12/7/41 until VJ Day on 8/15/45.  Then the boys came home.

 

3.   U.S. War in Afghanistan has lasted 93+ months from 10/7/01 until the present, Nobody can say at what stage the U.S. is at in the War in Afghanistan.  The War in Afghanistan could be the “Perpetual War” of 1984’s Oceania.

Study the terrain.  U.S. military vehicles are impotent in the outback of Afghanistan.  The best place in the entire world for Al-Qaeda and the Taliban to be contained is exactly where they are.

  

Study the country.  There is no industry.  There is no manufacturing of small arms, ammunition, RPGs, and IEDs.  BUT, after 8 years of fighting, Al-Qaeda and the Taliban are not running low on arms, ammunition, RPGs, and IEDs.  In fact, the number of IED attacks has increased dramatically.

   

Wake up America.  Some nation is supplying Al-Qaeda and the Taliban.  If the U.S. cannot discern who is supplying the arms, ammunition, RPGs, and IEDs to Al-Qaeda and the Taliban… Then the U.S. does not even know who the enemy is.

As the  fight over MJ’s assets (if any) by his relatives, ex-wife, and copious scumbag lawyers takes shape…   MJ will be buried in a cave with a  stone covering the entrance.  Hopefully, a good surveillance camera will record the ascendance.

 

MJ was born a Christian.   Like everyone else, MJ had no choice about his Christianity.  MJ converted to Islam during his boy-diddling trial.  Islam has severe penalties (death) for drug use and homosexuality as does the Old Testament (also death) used by the Christian and Jewish infidels.  What happened to MJ’s commitment to Islam?  MJ’s most recent and ineffective spiritual advisor was a Rabbi.

 

MJ had Christ, Allah, and God covered, but his passion was for  drugs and children.  If a cross is observed at MJ’s funeral or on his cave stone, I will continue to puke.
